Mates Rates (from June 1, 2024)

Mates Rates is Tyroola's referral program.
You can refer friends to Tyroola and earn rewards if they make a purchase.

Tyroola encourages fair and responsible sharing and takes no responsibility for consumers' spamming behaviours.

By participating in ‘Mates Rates’, you agree to these ‘Mates Rates’ terms and conditions:

Eligibility

Upon purchasing a tyre from Tyroola, you become eligible to participate in our referral program.

Anyone who successfully purchases tyres is eligible to become an Advocate.

An Advocate can then refer a Friend to participate in the program.

Self-Referral and Program Abuse

Advocates may not use their own referral code for purchases made by themselves or for transactions where they are the payer, cardholder, or primary beneficiary of the order.

Referrals must represent genuine recommendations to separate individuals acting independently.

Tyroola reserves the right, at its discretion, to withhold, cancel, reverse, or recover referral rewards, discount codes, and associated transactions where self-referral, duplicate or linked accounts, shared payment methods, collusion, bulk referrals, or activity inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Mates Rates program is identified or reasonably suspected.

Tyroola may delay reward issuance for review purposes and may request reasonable verification information where referral activity appears irregular.

The Offer

Advocates will receive a $30 gift card when their referred Friends complete a qualifying purchase of four tyres in one transaction.

Referred Friends will receive a 10% discount when they purchase four (4) tyres in a single transaction (any combination of sizes, patterns, or models) if they use the unique discount code provided by the Advocate.

Referral Voucher Conditions

Referral vouchers are subject to the following conditions:

• Limited to one (1) referral voucher per customer per transaction.

• Referral vouchers cannot be combined or stacked with other referral vouchers in a single order.

• Referral vouchers are issued for personal use only and may not be reproduced, transferred, manipulated, generated through automated means, or used in a manner inconsistent with the intent of the Mates Rates program.

• Tyroola reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel referral vouchers and/or associated orders where misuse, abuse, automation, bulk generation, or system exploitation is suspected.

By participating in Mates Rates, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The Reward

Advocates will receive a $30 gift card for each Friend who completes a qualifying purchase using a unique referral code shared by the Advocate.

The gift card will be issued within 15–30 days after the referred Friend's qualifying purchase.

Customers are advised to safeguard their gift card details and report any suspicious activity immediately to prevent fraud.

Friends who use the unique discount code provided by the Advocate will receive a 10% discount on their tyre purchase.

MatesRates $100 Bonus Giveaway

As part of the MatesRates referral program, every successful referral automatically earns one entry into the MatesRates Bonus Giveaway for a chance to win a $100 gift card.

Giveaway Mechanics

Entry: Each successful referral equals one automatic entry into the giveaway.

Bonus Entries: Optional actions — following Tyroola on Facebook or Instagram, or referring one additional friend, may allow Advocates to earn additional entries. Details will be provided via email.

2026 Giveaway Cycle

• Cycle 1: February 9 – March 30; Draw on April 5
• Cycle 2: April 1 – May 30; Draw on June 5
• Cycle 3: June 1 – July 30; Draw on August 5
• Cycle 4: August 1 – September 30; Draw on October 5
• Cycle 5: October 1 – November 30; Draw on December 5

These dates may be subject to change.

Draw Dates: Draws are conducted bi-monthly on the 5th of the month (e.g., April 5, June 5, August 5, etc.). The winner will be notified within 7 days of the draw date via email and call. It will also be posted on the MatesRates landing page and on Tyroola’s social media channels.
Prize: The winner of each draw will receive a $100 gift card, redeemable as a Virtual Visa card or in over 33 establishments across Australia.

Eligibility for the Giveaway

Only Advocates with at least one successful referral during the relevant entry period are eligible.

Past participants are also eligible for the Giveaway provided they meet the criteria outlined above.

The Purchase

Only Tyroola customers with validly invoiced tyre orders are eligible to participate in Mates Rates.

Returned or cancelled orders are not eligible for this promotion.

The 10% discount applies to the total tyre cost when four (4) or more tyres are purchased together, regardless of tyre size, pattern, or model, as long as the tyres are purchased in a single order.

Call-out, fitting, delivery, and other service fees (e.g., wheel alignment) incurred throughout the transaction are not subject to the discount code.

Tyroola may review and cancel transactions that, in its reasonable opinion, breach the spirit or intended mechanics of the Mates Rates program.

Expiration

The Mates Rates discount code issued to Friends expires on March 25, 2026.
After expiration, it is no longer valid for use.

Discount Code Usage

The discounted code provided to Friends may be used in conjunction with other promotions or discounts offered by Tyroola only where permitted by Tyroola at its discretion.

Tyroola reserves the right to cancel, void, or reverse discount codes and associated transactions where fraud, misuse, technical manipulation, bulk code generation, or activity inconsistent with the intended purpose of the program is identified or reasonably suspected.

After Purchase

After Friends have purchased their tyres using the unique discount code, they can participate in Mates Rates and receive the same rewards as stated above.

Past Tyroola customers may be referred again and become Advocates provided all eligibility conditions are met.

Modification of Terms

Tyroola reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, amend, suspend, terminate, or restrict participation in the Mates Rates referral program at any time, including limiting referral activity where irregular or abusive behaviour is detected. 

Gift Card Terms

Tyroola is not responsible for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the promotion or gift card redemption process. Tyroola shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from participation in the Program, including but not limited to inability to redeem gift cards or referral codes, technical malfunctions, or unauthorised access to participant accounts.

The gift card may be subject to restrictions on usage, including limitations on the purchase of certain products or services and terms or conditions imposed by the gift card provider or establishments where it can be redeemed.

Gift cards may be cancelled or voided in cases of fraud, misuse, or violation of the terms and conditions outlined herein.

Indemnification and Severability

By participating in the Mates Rates referral program, participants agree to indemnify and hold Tyroola harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from such participation.

Participants may not assign their rights or obligations under these terms and conditions without Tyroola's prior written consent.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
