The Achilles Desert Hawk UHP is an ultra high performance tyre designed for SUV's.The directional tread design provides comfort and traction in wet and dry conditions delivering both a comfortable and smooth ride. The solid center rib gives the driver straight line stability to improve handling and performance, especially at high speeds. Rim guard protection is used to give a lip of rubber around the rim to reduce impacts against curbs on the road. The two wide circumferential grooves allow for water to be dispersed through the grooves and shoulder side sipes of the tread pattern. Further, a high disperse silica compound is used to give increased grip in wet conditions, low rolling resistance, giving a lower fuel consumption.

• A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.
