Experience the Austone Athena Sp 303

The Austone Athena SP303 is an all-season tyre engineered for premium and luxury SUVs and 4x4s mainly driving on paved, urban and highway roads. It provides outstanding wet and dry performance and is an affordable option for drivers on a budget. Its unique compound makes the tyre puncture resistant and also lowers rolling resistance, lessening fuel consumption and CO2 emissions significantly. It features an asymmetrical tread design with dynamic blocks and gradually decreasing lateral grooves that quickly drains water from the tyre's surface to ensure wet weather traction by preventing hydroplaning. A wide central rib provides precision handling, responsive steering as well as excellent grip when cornering at high-speeds. It is a quiet and comfortable ride, with Austone's engineers using a variable pitch groove design to keep tyre noise limited. Austone Tyres began in Australia, and with partners, the Chengshan Group and Cooper Tyre produce well-built, affordable tyres available globally

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

tyre-size

360 A A

•  360 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  A Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Austone Athena Sp 303 is an Asymmetrical Tyre

tyre-size

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
