Four circumferential grooves drain surface water from the tread, so you get closer contact with the road and more dependable wet traction. The Proxes C100 tread pattern is optimised with variable pitches to minimise road noise, while “Silent Wall” serrations on the inside of the main grooves disturb excess vibrations from the road, so you get exceptional ride comfort, even at high speeds. A new casing design adds to the Proxes C100’s durability and comfort, by bringing more uniformity to the structure of the tyre. Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.
To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
