Experience the Kumho Ecsta PS31

The Kumho Ecsta PS31 is an Ultra-High-Performance Summer tyre designed for passenger cars with drivers that want to go to the next level of speed and high-speed stability. A reinforced solid centre rib and lateral grooves that are both stylish and function enhance the tyre block's stiffness and boost the PS31's wet braking capabilities. Four-Channel, wide lateral grooves safely prevent hydroplaning. Additional microgrooves with diagonal siping also push water out quickly and efficiently ensuring safer and more stable cornering. The grooves also prevent unequal and irregular tread wear due to its less than 10-degree angle range. A computer 3D dimple design effectively minimises the heat brought about by friction on the tyre tread block, so it becomes a safer and durable tyre, especially when driving on higher speeds. Finally, the Kumho's Ecsta PS31 displays a whimsical racing-inspired checkered design on its sidewalls seemingly letting us all know its ultra-high performance capabilities.

Why This Tyre?

What's the Pros And Cons?

Kumho Ecsta PS31 UTQG 460 A A

Compare and Rate Your Tyre on its Treadwear, Traction, and Temperature

460 A A

•  460 Treadwear:
This grade represents the tyre's expected life/duration, ranging between 100 to 1000. Usually, the higher the treadwear rating, the longer the tyre life.

•  A Traction:
This grade represents the tyre's capability to stop on wet asphalt and pavement. Ratings are expressed in letter form, with AA being the highest and C as the lowest.

•  A Temperature:
This grade represents the tyre's heat resistance ability, with A as the highest and C as the lowest. Heat build-up causes the rubber to break down faster, which can cause blowouts. The higher the temperature rating, the longer the tyre life and the higher the speed rating.

The Kumho Ecsta PS31 is an Asymmetrical Tyre

Asymmetrical tread patterns combine different tread types to deliver maximum wet and dry road grip via its inner and middle tread, while outside, larger and rigid tread blocks dominate the design to improve cornering.

To avoid fitting mistakes, asymmetrical tyres are labelled "outside" and "inside only" so you know if they will face your vehicle or out.
